Great to see the branded buses on the correct routes!
Salt road bus on a 44?
Looks like a school journey on the S44 so probably a one off journey using a Salt Road bus

BusTimes tracking

For anybody who is interested, Astons made the switch to the now popular 'Ticketer' machines on Monday 14th September. As a result (due to the tracking compatibility) there vehicles are now traceable on bustimes.org. It also means you can pay using contactless on there buses! :D https://bustimes.org...

Re: FMR: Refurbs and Repaints

It's been a while & all fleet movements have most likely been delayed due to the pandemic. But has anyone heard any news regarding the remaining Slough Citaro's - Are they due anytime soon. To allow the release of our 5 StreetLite Max's to Leicester... Also any recent talk regarding our potential DD...

Re: 66820 (MX05 CEJ)

Perhaps 15 year old premium Volvos like 66820 and its sisters should be considered for service in Worcester and the 17/18 year old cramped Citaros used for driver training? That would be more logical! But we know all too well that logic is not always applied when it comes down to these decisions :l...

This ex Leicester vehicle has reportedly been sat at Worcester depot since before lock-down. https://www.flickr.com/photos/dshtrains/50040017628/in/photolist-2jeSaSC-2dAX9VW-22RUZgD-2hD7VpR-Tb5jUs-Qc8ASC-HtTe8x-CZtfkv-Ci93ca-Bt3rUx-Bt3t6v-u5ec6D-s8s6GS-qWGe3z-mY4fFK-i5sej6-oJAz8f-ebKW4K-dv6CEz-aZivv...

Re: Devastated Services (Coronavirus)

I actually saw some buses today for the first time in weeks! Astons Streetlite WF on the 332 (has this continued to run during the lockdown?) while out for a bike ride, and then later a First Streetlite Max in Barnards Green. Believe it or not Astons have been running all bus services to normal tim...

Re: astons in kidderminster

It will take careful planning by Astons if they wish to avoid expensive dead mileage between Clerkenleap/Defford and Kidderminster! It would make sense to put on some early 294/296 journeys (towards Bewdley/Kidderminster) to reduce dead running. Studying the TTs I see that all 3 vehicles used on th...

Re: astons in kidderminster

I am wondering if Astons have now taken the contracts over early? Certainly today from my place which overlooks the 15A/15C there has been no sign of Coniston today, but every hour Astons Yutong YJ16 UTE has been going past my window! I can't see any route number displayed, but the fact that is has...

Re: Devastated Services (Coronavirus)

I hadn't realised they'd moved in there already! It's the old countrywide site off Defford airfield (near to Dunstall Castle) https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Astons+Coaches/@52.0911261,-2.1677411,13.7z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x4870fb4d1dc8c08d:0x39ead08213de7b86!8m2!3d52.08787!4d-2.1586271 Also, while...

Re: Devastated Services (Coronavirus)

Astons already have a new site, it is at Defford, and some vehicles have already been re-located there. I hadn't realised they'd moved in there already!
