Re: Replacement Coaches for Worcester

It was off the road on my last day. I know this because I wanted it for my last journey! At the time I was was told it was the fuel pump that had failed again. I think this is the fourth time it's gone.

Re: Replacement Coaches for Worcester

When I zoomed into the picture I noticed that they have put the fleetnumber on the coach! I was surprised as it was neither of the ones we initially thought... It shows 20611 (LK07 CDE) This coach is the same body and has most recently operated for First Berkshire (like the citaro’s) And looking at...

Re: Replacement Coaches for Worcester

The fleet list I published on here in November (supplied by First) showed 20370 and 20371 as coming to Worcester. I don't know if that is still correct, but they are the correct body type, except that they are standard height and the graphics appear to show the taller "highline" body style. The grap...

They should also be in a new(ish) livery for Worcester.
Surprised nobody asked about this, but it has more than a hint of the "Spare Bus" livery to it so that might suggest it will stand-in on school services when not needed for Rail Replacement and Private Hire work.

Re: Replacement Coaches for Worcester

No change to school work since September except for route changes around Warndon Villages to help balance out the loads on the S1-S4 routes. I didn't get a chance to drive the revised routes before I left so I don't know if it worked. It should be noted that the existing coach stands in for the yell...

Re: Minor changes Jan 2019

I had assumed the closure was at the Wellend end when I suggested Hook Bank.

Replacement Coaches for Worcester

I've received an update from First regarding the two replacement coaches that were announced a few weeks ago... They are expected to arrive at Worcester "later this week." They should also be in a new(ish) livery for Worcester. Although I don't start my new job until next week, and therefore have so...

Re: Minor changes Jan 2019

I saw those signs too and I remember thinking to myself... Not my problem! 🤣

In the past buses have been diverted via Hook Bank, but I guess the exact location of the closure will decide this. If the road closure is only outside the new housing estate then it won't be a problem.
