It’s a typo. It instructs the web browser to display the & symbol, but whoever programmed it missed the control code from the start.

From what I have been told, the two-floor Engineering office block was demolished and rebuilt in the early 1980s. The new single-floor building is the one that still stands today and had purpose built facilities for emptying the toilets from coaches, which were required to reverse alongside the buil...

That is a great photo!
I had no idea the pits at the "traffic office" end of the building dated back so far. I had always though they were put in during the NBC era when the internal walls were built.

Bit of an update... First have not won anything new from the close of Dudleys, however the contracts that First already had required duplication buses due to social distancing, and these have until now been sub-contracted out to Dudleys by First. It looks like First will now be doing the duplication...

I remember "helping" to change the destination blind on 544 at Wythall a few years ago. It was a real pig of a job and you have to wonder if Leyland expected their customers to update blinds over time, or did they just assume the same blind would stay in the vehicle for life! For this reason I doubt...

I'm told First Worcester have won some additional school work as a result of the Dudleys closure, and they are taking on a few more staff. I don't have any further details at the moment though.
