Re: New Bus for DRM

That looks really smart. Good to see DRM still going strong after all the problems of the last two years.

Re: It wasn't me guv....

It's in the red and cream form that I got to drive it. I never got the chance when it was overall red.

Re: It wasn't me guv....

Great find!

The coach was also found, several years later in a new livery in Ireland. It was recovered and returned to service with First Midland Red, mostly working from Evesham depot.

And the caption for the photo is???
As long as it isn't "oh Adam I've missed you, give me a hug" we should be OK.

Re: Midland Red Day 2021

A brilliant day, congratulations to the organisers, and a fantastic photographic record of the event - I think it is the first time that I have appeared in one of Tim Brown's photographs (on top of 6015 at The Maypole). Re: Midland Red Day 2021

Won't be attending with the Leopard am afraid. Fuel situation still bad over here, and can't risk getting stranded in Wythall even if I get diesel here. 33 gallon tank isn't enough for there and back... Gutted to say the least... Noooo.... :( I'm sure you'll be able to find something, I've been out...

Re: Driver wanted !

Thank you. I’m “based” at head office in their marketing department, but in reality I’m everywhere. I was in Banbury on Friday, Cheltenham yesterday, and I’m off to Swindon today… I was even sent to Worcester on one afternoon last week!

Re: Midland Red Day 2021

I believe Worcester depot are sending a bus and will be picking up from Crowngate, but I can't remember what time they said they were departing!

I'll be there but I'll probably take the car up.
