Re: 66305

66305 has been sent to Leicester to see if they can fix an ABS fault. It is due to transfer there once all the green buses are in service, so it will be interesting to see if it ever comes back.

The same thing happened last year, and it took a couple of weeks to refit the transfers
Weeks? Try months! The "Midland Red" transfers weren't refitted until late September!!

West Malvern Closed (Service 675 & 676)

From tomorrow (Monday 15th January 2018) West Malvern Road (B4232) will be closed for about 7 weeks for road works. The result is that the whole of West Malvern will not be served by Service 675 and 676. Worcestershire County Council will be running a free shuttle service using a 16-seat minibus whi...

Re: The "Fifties"

I believe that the flags for the Fifties, and also for the 144s, have arrived and the person responsible for fitting them is trying to arrange a few days off from driving so that he can fit them. He has more bus shelter signs for Crowngate to fit, but needs a couple of days to do it. This is true. ...

Re: The "Fifties"

None of the new bus stop flags are up yet. All of the 50s are carded for a single-deck bus like everything else, they get swapped around a bit. Earlier in the week 67662 decided it didn't want to go to Birmingham so my Volvo was taken off me for that and I did an X50 in a Solo. Luckily it was an off...

Re: 66305

It had a gearbox change over the Christmas holidays and went back into service. I think it lasted about half a day before it expired in Crowngate.

Re: KEV'S Bus route 355 in Crowngate bus station.

I don't think so. WCC did want to link it with the Stourbridge route, but seeing as that contract was not awarded they may have changed their plans.

Re: "Refreshed 144" !

Yes, that is correct.

Number 6 arrived on Thursday afternoon (69452) and was half-dressed by end of play on Friday. It entered service on Monday morning.

They seem to be arriving once every 10 days or so.

I have been asked to take photos for the launch event but as yet nobody has been given a date!
