Re: Delays and strikes on West Midlands Railway

Personally , I have only had my train ticket checked once since the "electrics" came to Bromsgrove. I am only an occasional train user though. Saying that , the flying squad of ticket inspectors have been sighted a number of times on the platforms at Bromsgrove.

Re: Further media coverage about Worcesters diminishing bus services

. The problem lies in the fact that it is subbed in Newport, South Wales, and to be quite honest, they don't give a ****. They have little or no knowledge of the area and have no interest in the residents of Worcester. Hmmmm. A bit like First Bus ?? ?? Or is that a little severe ?? ??

Re: New round of disposals and transfers-out.

Simon Dunn of Rotala has intimated that vehicles they have on order from Wrightbus will be delayed by six months. As the ones for Leeds are already completed I guess the waiting time will be rather less. ;)

Re: ...... "along the Salt Road" !

The road markings do say Bus Stop as opposed to Buses Only but I cannot ever remember seeing a bus stop sign there. As the saying goes , "you live and learn". :) At some stage [ no pun ] during today , the road markings for this stop have moved around 70 yards in a westerly direction.
