It would be nice if the 7 '12 plate' E400s sat at Stoke/Leicester were to replace our 51 & 54 plate deckers!
I agree !!

42892 has just passed its' MoT, and has "social Distancing" sashes on the seats, so its return is imminent. However, it will be short lived as it is expected to be transferred in the next couple of months, however, I could not ascertain where to.
Yes, it's back in service this afternoon.

Re: The MR Atlanteans that never were!

Thanks Ridercross !! I assume that the local identity Ridercross, which was applied to Banbury based Midland Red buses in the late 70s, was based on the folk song - - "Ride a red horse (bus) to Banbury Cross, to see a white(?) lady upon a red horse ...... " (?) I also think I'm correct in saying tha...

Re: Visiting vehicles

Another bus that has been at the depot for months, but I don't recall it be being mentioned on here, is StreetLite 63379, - no doubt for "engineering" work.

Visiting vehicles

A Leicester B7L was at the depot today -- 66311 I believe. Also, in the garage was an old Volvo saloon which MIGHT have been another B7L, or it might have been one of the "not so old" B7RLEs that have been discussed on here recently. Re: Bristol VR Question

That's a very interesting photo, thanks Adam !
