Re: Bewdley Bus Gala 2018
How about taking the freshly painted training bus? Well you've ruined the surprise. Yes 60311 is going .....
I would get a buzz if 3311 KHA311 also attends ! It was a training bus when I saw it in the late 1960s, being "squ...

Re: "Going in the wrong direction !"

From time to time I get a "nightmare" in which I'm looking at an empty Padmore Street garage and empty parking area ("patch"), with all the buses GONE and not based somewhere else -- replaced by some other means of public transport. The privitised bus companies have all evolved their deregulated , m...

"Going in the wrong direction !"

On the Worcester News site today, is a detailed report about the DISASTROUS fall in the number of bus passenger journeys undertaken in Worcestershire in recent years. NOT unique to Worcestershire, and for reasons that are known to many of us, it makes grim reading. http://www.worcesternews.co.uk/new...

Re: 66694

In the absence of our famous engine builder a refurbished second-hand engine was found and fitted. It got as far as the bus park on the other side of the road before it failed. After a bit of arguing with the supplier the bus was moved back indoors and the "new" engine removed and sent back. Anothe...

I've been wondering why it's taking so long to get this one back on the road. Could it be -- (a) - a shortage of mechanics/ engineers ? -- (b) - a cash flow problem relating to First group's financial woes ? -- Has anyone noticed the sudden appearance of NATWEST bank adverts on our buses -- "Keeping...

Re: Worcester's DD usage.

Trident 33043 was used on Service 417 all day yesterday (Saturday 30th June). Before you all rush out and start looking for bits of the roof, Cradley Village can not be served at the moment due to the road being closed in the village following a collapsed sewer near Cradley Brook, so all journeys r...

Re: ...... "along the Salt Road" !

I see Adam, that you have mentioned on the wmbusphotos site that two "additional" vehicles will be painted into Salt Road livery, later in the year.

- Can you tell us any more please, and could you tell us if they will definitely be single-deckers ? ;)

Re: (First) "Midland Red returns to Cheltenham" ......

Does that mean that there are around 80 people wandering around Cheltenham trying to find their bus back home? ...... There you are Adam, - I told you the 481 would need a double-decker :D .... Meanwhile, the first outbound 17.15 journey of the 418 to Ledbury only had one passenger ( - ME !! ) I as...
