Re: Worcester's DD usage.

This had indeed operated the 1750 Service 363 to Ryall. It was some nice little overtime for me as I had agreed to stop on and cover for the late running of the S51 as residents of Welland and beyond were eager to catch the connecting minibus at Hanley Swan due to the current road closure and divers...

Re: FMR Fleet Movements

The VIN plate on 69453 states that its 12150mm in length, which is just shy of 40 foot. This contrasts our Plaxton-bodied Volvo's 11951mm (just over 39 foot) and our Enviro's 11860mm (just shy of 39 foot). So yes, this batch of B7RLE's are indeed slightly longer. Fortunately though, as these boast t...

Re: FMR Fleet Movements

We're apparently having 12 B7 Volvos from Leicester... These are the 59 plate ones originally from Bristol. This was also my educated guess. 69435-6, 69449-56 and 69459-60. All examples of this batch sport the Wrightbus Eclipse Urban 2 body. As much of a spectacle as it would have been to have witn...

Re: Sun and buses at Bromsgrove and Droitwich 8 April 2017

Thank you very much Tim for the informative account of the Vario's in service. It were these that really encouraged a younger self to pursue a career in the industry and they firmly remain as my favourite minibuses. I was particularly intrigued by your reference to the reliability of the injectors. ...

Re: Ex Worcester 67646 Crash

This is the second occasion this particular Enviro has had the misfortune of severe damage to the front nearside.

It was involved in a collision back in July 2008 whilst working out of Worcester.

Re: 44511

This was mine for the 1815 Service 144 to Birmingham last night. It had been a faultless drive all afternoon, other than the aforementioned rattles. By Rashwood however, its idle tone was more comparable to a tractor and by the Crown at Wychbold I thought it best to phone it in. Transpires that it w...

Re: Ex-Hereford Solos with Potteries

67643 transferred to First Potteries on Monday (November 21).
Minibus 53064 is indeed its replacement.

As far as I'm aware, 67659 is also currently at Adderley Green receiving a repaint.

Re: Visiting Buses at Worcester

The Eclipse that has recently arrived from First PMT is 66963 (KX05MHZ). Certainly no stranger to Worcester as she was transferred from Northampton Transport in April 2006 before passing to Leicester Citybus in August 2007. http://www.midlandred.net/photograph.php?operator=mrw&type=b7&fleet=66963&im...

Re: Large Rail Contract Oct 2016 - Buses on Loan

As I am to become one of these thirteen drivers, I'm intrigued as for whether we have any sort of confirmation yet as for what these loaned vehicles are going to be? I suppose if they end up being of a type that isn't to my liking I could always be that soldier and volunteer to drive 33039...

Re: Possible Non-Runners (?)

we should be turning right in Leigh Sinton road... How crafty and utterly ridiculous. I was struggling to read beyond this point as my face was flat in my palm. All published timetables that I am aware of which detail this offending schooldays-only journey of Service 365 have it terminate at Link T...
