Re: Buses serving Norton Parkway

I'm now questioning whether this is just a one-off Sunday operation if it's free! And there is no TT anywhere other than on the link I put on here! Also, Looking at the TT, it will be a struggle for the driver to keep to time - with only 2 minutes turnaround at each end! My guess would be t...

Re: Delays and strikes on West Midlands Railway

According to West Midlands Trains they are not planning on one person operation: "We are disappointed at the outcome of the ballot. We have committed to keeping a guard on every passenger train . A strike benefits nobody. " We reached a framework agreement with RMT in May last year which guaranteed ...

Re: New Heritage Bus

I know it was hoped that the bus would be ready for the Buses Festival this Sunday, appropriately being held just down the road from Banbury, so fingers crossed it will be ready for then...

Re: Stagecoach Heritage Bus

According to the Oxford and Chiltern bus page, MR (S) E200 MMC 37401 is to be repainted into a heritage Midland Red livery to mark the centenary of Banbury garage.

It should be making the short trip to Gaydon for Buses Festival next month :D

Re: Kidderminster Depot

Latest service changes have hit the press. The Bewdley changes actually mean a quicker journey between Kiddie and Bewdley, but needless to say the loss of service to the whole Habberley area has not gone down well. http://www.kidderminstershuttle.co.uk/news/16593814.diamond-bus-route-changes-spark-f...

Re: Autumn 2018 service changes (?)

So if you are having a Friday or Saturday evening out in Worcester don't plan on catching the bus home then (as per the rest of the week)! :(

Re: Hay Festival 2018 (?)

Were the ex TWM solos still to be seen in use on the Hay Park and Ride services by Herdman Coaches, or have these finally bitten the dust?

Re: .... and now Bewdley !

(I hope this facility will be properly promoted and publicised, but of course that is the "Achilles heel" of far too many bus services !) Indeed, sadly too many smaller bus companies don't have the resources for publicity, and many Councils including Worcestershire don't have resources either anymo...

Re: Kidderminster Losing More Work

Good news for some travellers in that the 292 will be quicker for longer distance passengers.

I guess this will mean a revision to Diamond's local services now to cover the estates again?
