Reckon you are correct. Note also the Bristol MW behind the S12.
In the other picture I think the S14 may be 4347 (UHA 347) which at that time was powered by a very noisy three-cylinder, six piston, horizontally-opposed Rootes TS3 two-stroke engine normally used in Commer coaches and lorries. The peace and quiet of Ledbury would have been shattered that day if it was 4347!
Incidentally it was not a very good vehicle for City service because of the low torque output of the engine and unfamiliar drivers were known to stall this bus when attempting hill starts. It was generally kept on county services because of this trait. However, because of the high-revving characteristics of the TS3 engine the bus was very fast when wound up, and legend has it that one unlucky driver was fined for doing 65 MPH on the X72 between Gloucester and Tewkesbury.
